Thanks to Stephen, Barbara, Simon, Derek, Xenia and all those who helped an played in our Charity Day event. The over this season the club raised £1500 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
On the 7th Aug team played Laxfield at the superb ground of Sutton BC. In a closely contested match we lost be twelve shots to be runners-up for the second successive year. Congratulations to Laxfield.

Another very entertaining and hilarious event completed thanks to Stephen, Barabara and the rest of the team who organised the event.

Congratulations to all those who won trophies in our club competition finals held in September. They were presented by our President, Elizabeth Aldred, at our annual dinner and presentation held in the club house.

Congratulations to the Framlingham Castle Men's Fours Suffolk team for reaching the final of the county fours. Also congratulations to Jemimah Andrew-Smith winning the final of the under 25 Ladies singles and joining the Fours team at the National Finals in Leamington.

Members and guests have just returned from the twentieth club tour. We visited some very interesting greens including York Bowls Club, Copmanthorpe Bowls Club Wetherby Bowls Club. Bishopsthorpe Bowls Club and the wonderful green at Ramsey Bowls Club in Huntingdon. We would like to thank all of those clubs for their friendliness and hospitality. Thanks to Dick, Stephen, Derek, Xenia and Dick and all those who made the event a pleasure. Our next tour area venue has yet to be decided.
